Do I need SunUp Pro to use Sun Dial?
Sun Dial works with SunUp on iPhone. Scan-to-dismiss unlocks in the app when your tag ships — check the app for current bundle details.
When does scan-to-dismiss unlock?
When your physical tag ships. You'll pair it once in SunUp Settings, then use scan-to-dismiss on any alarm.
Is Sun Dial required?
Not at all. SunUp works great with math, chess, memory games, QR scan, and other dismiss tasks. Sun Dial is optional hardware for people who want a walk-to-dismiss ritual.
Where should I place it?
Somewhere that forces you out of bed — a hallway shelf, bathroom mirror, or kitchen counter works well.
